Samir Korchani

Samir Korchani holds a doctorate in Ancient History with the research subject “The Jebel Demmer and the Jebel Labiedh in Antiquity: Archaeological and Historical Approach”. He has been interested for more than 20 years as a researcher, trainer and active member of civil society in the tangible and intangible cultural heritage in the Tunisian south-east region and in this case the Tataouine region. During this period he has focused on the scientific, cultural and tourist enhancement of the heritage potential of this region. He is the author of a series of communications dealing with the different articulations of this archaeological landscape, particularly during antiquity, part of which will be published in the form of scientific articles. He also regularly contributes to the organization of various cultural and research events aimed at enhancing the mountain heritage in the south-eastern Tunisian region.
