CLIMATE CHANGE RISK ASSESSMENT

a comprehensive geomorphological risk mapping and GIS mapping of climate-change related risks with spatial analysis of the heritage positioning and risk will be carried out by the UWE team, but with direct involvement of the trainees to transfer analysis capacity.

This includes slope and hydrology analysis, and risk assessment for potential flash flooding and rockfall occurrence using GIS.

Co-production of knowledge is central, drawing on local experience and expertise to map the observed and likely environmental consequences of climate change for the built environment.

The results lead to climate change strategy assessments and recommendations for the future economy and preservation of the region.
